1. Who Can Use My Story Steps

  • My Story Steps is designed for users aged 5–14, with the support and supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • Children under 13 must sign in using a Google Family Link supervised account.
  • Parents are responsible for supervising their child's activity on the platform.

2. Accounts and Sign-In

  • We use Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication to let users save and continue their stories.
  • We do not collect or store your name or email address — only a secure ID that allows us to save your progress.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and secure.

3. Creating and Sharing Stories

My Story Steps lets you:

  • Create interactive stories
  • Choose from multiple story paths
  • Share your story with a private link

By using our platform, you agree not to create or share content that:

  • Includes hate speech, bullying, or harassment
  • Contains violence, sexual content, or anything inappropriate for children
  • Violates the rights of others (e.g., copyrighted content, trademarks, or personal data)

We may remove stories or block access if these rules are broken.

4. Content Ownership

The stories, text, and images you create using our tools remain yours, but:

  • We may store and process them to support platform features.
  • You give My Story Steps permission to host, display, and share your content (privately or publicly, if you choose to share).
  • We may use anonymized content to improve our technology.
  • All other elements of the platform (design, code, tools) belong to My Story Steps and are protected by copyright and other laws.

5. AI-Generated Content

  • Our stories and images are created using artificial intelligence.
  • AI-generated content may vary and sometimes be unpredictable.
  • We do our best to ensure the content is family-friendly, but we cannot guarantee it will always be suitable.
  • If you see something inappropriate, please report it immediately using the provided tools or by contacting us.

  • Your privacy is important to us. We do not sell your data or show you ads.
